R&D

In R&D, we’re full of highly skilled talents that include Scientists, Engineers, Medical, Clinical and Regulatory professionals – all working to create a cleaner, healthier world. With nine Centres of Excellence, we continually seek out new opportunities by using science, our entrepreneurial flare and our fearless innovation to develop and enhance our existing portfolio, never compromising on quality or performance.

The size of our organisation means you’ll have the opportunity to learn and work in different functions within R&D, giving you exposure to different disciplines, teams and environments. Your responsibilities

  • Lead the sustainability supplier outreach program. Building relationships with our key raw material suppliers and using your scientific understanding to drive decision making.
  • Review LCA material footprints, evaluate outputs to build a roadmap on how we reduce the carbon footprint of the materials we buy.
  • Coordinate activities and objectives with R&D, Procurement, Corporate Affairs & Sustainability and other functional groups to advance assigned initiatives and manage priorities of related activities.
  • Establish, communicate and continually manage project expectations and progress with team members and key project stakeholders via meetings, presentation and monthly status reports.
  • Support in building strategy on how we reduce our footprint internally.
  • Manage the development of key projects to deliver capability improvements, working with R&D partners across all 3 GBUs
  • Lead project meetings for all assigned initiatives (scheduling, issuing meeting minutes, action plans, etc.)
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical project paths; manage risk analysis and contingency planning on all assigned projects.

The experience we’re looking for

  • Degree qualified in related science field.
  • Experience with LCAs desirable.
  • Experience engaging and working with supply chain partners.
  • Experience and/or proven track record of using scientific understanding for successful delivery of projects in a FMCG company.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Results-oriented and self-motivating.
  • Ability to display a high degree of flexibility and adapt effectively to changing priorities
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to provide feedback to team members with the goal of attaining common understanding, trust and co-operation
  • Proactive mindset fitting with Reckitt Core Values and able to exhibit entrepreneurial attributes.
  • Proficient with common software, including MSOffice
