Overview

As the Sustainability Reporting Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and evolving Sage’s corporate sustainability reporting program beyond 2025. You will be part of a team of highly engaged sustainability professionals and work across the group on all relevant sustainability topics.

A critical moment for sustainability reporting has arrived. With regulations coming fast from around the globe, bringing financial and non-financial reporting closer together has never been more important. It is hugely exciting times to be involved in this space, and to be part of the next phase of more standardised reporting approach.

In this role, you will have an opportunity to:
• Help shape our reporting direction, and continue to strengthen our data quality, transparency, and governance. You will be involved in a broad range of activities ranging from analysis and preparation for regulations such as the EU CSRD and standards such as the ISSB and supporting the development of our annual sustainability reporting suite.

• Collaborate with a wide range of colleagues and functions at Sage, promoting the value of reporting and transparency, enhancing internal knowledge and expertise, and supporting the delivery of Sage’s non-financial assurance.

• Facilitate working groups across the business, driving content and data coordination, and assisting in the preparation of papers for various governance committees.

• Monitor the evolution of Sage’s material topics, ensuring that the business continues to address the most relevant issues over time. You will be engaged in both internal and external communications, helping to integrate the sustainability narrative into our communications. This role is crucial in ensuring Sage remains responsive to key sustainability issues.

This is a hybrid position, a minimum of 2 days a week on-site in our London office location and as required according to business need.

Key Responsibilities Summary of your day-to-day
As a Sustainability Reporting Senior Manager at Sage, your day involves:
• Providing strong subject matter reporting expertise
• Coordinating the preparation of Sage’s annual sustainability reporting suite, including contributions to the Annual Report & Accounts
• Assist in the delivery of Sage’s non-financial assurance
• You will analyse current and upcoming sustainability regulations across Sage’s jurisdictions, preparing summaries and strategic responses for Sage’s leadership
• You will be involved in sustainability communications, ensuring our achievements are shared internally and externally, helping to enhance Sage’s reputation as a sustainable and responsible business.
• You will support the strategy team in consistently taking the outputs of the reporting process and identifying any implications for strategy evolution.

Skills and Experience
• Experience in corporate reporting, project management, strong analytical and data skills, and show meticulous attention to detail
• Experience collaborating with auditors and staying up to date with reporting regulatory and voluntary developments
• Have an experience in stakeholder collaboration and management in a global company to deliver successful projects and initiatives
• Have experience in GRI, SASB, CDP, SECR, TCFD, SBTi, GHG Protocol and working knowledge of the EU CSRD, Taxonomy, CSDDD, US SEC.
