You will offer advice and guidance to leaders, managers, staff and learners to ensure environmental compliance across ACT/ALS and our partners.
The role fits within the Facilities Team reporting to the Facilities Manager.
This is a Hybrid role – 2 days working from home and 3 days working onsite.
What we are looking for:
- At least 3 years’ experience in an environmental/sustainability role within a busy organisation
- Experience of managing and monitoring an EMS and other associated environmental systems

IEMA qualification and at least associate membership of IEMAKnowledge of environment legislationExcellent IT skills
- Experience of ISO14001 accreditation
- Team player with ability to work on own initiative
- Experience of resource monitoring (energy, waste, transport)
- A full driving licence is essential
- ACT is committed to promoting the Welsh language for both staff and learners, and whilst it is not considered essential criteria, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role.
