We’re looking for a Sustainability Manager to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and strategic individual to drive our environmental responsibility, social impact, and long-term business resilience.

Reporting to the Ideas & Innovation Director, this is a full-time and permanent position. The working hours will be Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm. The Company operates a flexible working policy, with office hours of 7.00am-7.00pm Monday-Friday.

You’ll be part of a forward-thinking Ideas & Innovation team, reporting directly to the Ideas and Innovation Director. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of sustainability at Loadhog and make a measurable impact on our journey to net zero. As our sustainability manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering our ESG strategy.​

The successful candidate should have the following skills and experience:

  • Degree-level qualification in sustainability or environmental management, or equivalent business experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of carbon reduction within Scope 1, 2, and 3.
  • Experience in sustainability management and strategy development.
  • Strong subject matter expertise in areas including net zero pathways, waste, and circularity.
  • Confidence in working with data and digital tools to support carbon accounting.
  • Proficiency in using PC-based IT systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including communication, relationship building, negotiation, decision making, and influencing.
  • High levels of self-management including organisation, planning, self-motivation, creative thinking, and emotional intelligence.
