The role

This role can be based in any of our offices in the UK.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Manager to lead and oversee projects focused on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives across Azets. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving sustainability programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering ESG-related projects that align with our Azets Pathway strategy. A significant area of focus will be working with our communications team to share and celebrate all the great work that we do in this area- both internally and externally.

The role holder will be an integral member of the Group HR Team (a small but mighty team of seven), and will work collaboratively with colleagues across the business and across geographies. The role holder will enjoy working and building relationships with colleagues from a wide range of job roles to deliver positive change.

Key accountabilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end sustainability projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with Azets’ goals
• Collaborate across teams to embed sustainability initiatives into our operations and culture
• Oversee sustainability data collection, reporting, and compliance, ensuring alignment with global standards such as CSRD
• Engage stakeholders, including senior leadership, to drive awareness and action
• Support environmental and social responsibility initiatives and contribute to our annual sustainability reports.

Skills & experience

• Experience in sustainability or corporate responsibility project management
• Expertise in sustainability frameworks, carbon footprint methodologies, and ESG regulations
• Strong communication and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• A collaborative mindset and passion for driving change.
