Key Responsibilities: 

Data & Reporting

  • Manage timely environmental reporting from global office manager community for various external disclosures
  • Point of contact for external consultants regarding production of environmental data
  • Manage any relevant data gathering required (eg, employee commute survey)
  • Conduct gap analysis on reporting processes and working with Senior Sustainability Manager to identify solutions across regions
  • Deliver interrogation of quantitive data (excel) for both overarching sustainability and supporting other workstreams under this banner (sustainable procurement, business travel etc)
  • Provide key delivery partners (travel team, procurement) with data support when required

 

Engagement

  • Work with local Office Managers and Green champions on the firm’s delivery of the Global Sustainability Strategy & Goals
  • Grow the sustainability/green champions network across the firm, run events and initiatives through the champions
  • Support for environment week and other ad hoc comms. Ensuring content received in timely fashion and support with content creation where required
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to create engaging storytelling for internal and external publications
  • Supporting embedding and uptake of initiatives across jurisdictions and balancing the differing regulations
  • Support completion of client requests, internal and external reporting
  • Working with procurement to support our supplier engagement process including developing an engagement approach for in depth supplier interaction
  • Understanding and supporting with opportunities and challenges in different jurisdictions – bringing knowledge on, supporting with new directives

 

Strategy

  • Provide research to support strategy development
  • Working under the direction of the Senior Sustainability Manager to help shape our Climate Transition Plans

  • External Initiatives (UNGC, LSA, NZLA, Heart of the City)

 

Qualifications, skills and experience:

  • 2-3 years in a sustainability related role
  • An understanding of and previous exposure to corporate sustainability reporting and data collection
  • Excellent data analytics and numeracy skills
  • Ability to practically apply emissions reporting knowledge
  • Strong Excel and Database management knowledge
  • Strong organisational and project management abilities
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, previous global exposure a benefit
