A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our Sustainability team to help us on our journey to becoming the #1 sustainable style destination.

Reporting to the Sustainability Manager, the Sustainability Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining a clear view of the impact of our sustainability targets, monitoring and evaluating project impact, as well as ensuring all sustainably sourced products are certified in line with our organic cotton and recycled materials requirements.

You Will

  • Co-ordinate factory and subcontractor application process with suppliers and local teams
  • Ensure and report on 100% audits completed within audit windows globally, 5% unannounced with min. 20% shadowed by teams.
  • Maintain up to date and accurate data on factories and sub-contractors.
  • Upload ethical audit data, lead grading, and cut through complex issues to communicate expectations with clarity to our suppliers.
  • Work closely with local offices to ensure up to date Corrective Action Plans progress reports are maintained, ensuring target completion dates are met.
  • Maintain up to date process guidance for suppliers – collaborate with the Sustainability team on annual updates of our supplier guidance / manuals.
  • Track Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with preferred audit partners and Drive market leading and consistent audit methodology; maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with preferred audit partners.
  • Maintain global data on factory demographics, global data wage, identify wider market leading ethical performance indicators to reflect conditions in our supply chain and lead on internal / external reporting updates covering ethical, wage and demographic data.
  • Develop and maintain proactive dashboards and tracking of ethical compliance, factory level performance and demographic data, and respect and dignity targets and lead on Fashion Revolution roadmap.
  • Lead Superdry’s Respect and Dignity targets globally alongside local sourcing office functions – engaging factories, non-government organizations, consultancies to deliver empowerment programs in factory in line with best practice (e.g.  the United Nations Women’s’ Empowerment Principles (WEP))– ensuring global consistency in approach and reporting.
  • Run data analysis; and general administration and support as required, with focus on packaging compliance.
  • Support sustainability communications, working with marketing, PR and wider teams to ensure Superdry is communicating with integrity.
  • Support in projects to make sustainability business as usual, identify solutions and innovative ideas to drive efficiency in product tracking and reporting.

You Are

  • Somebody with experience working in sustainability and/or fashion, with some experience in product/garment traceability and certification systems.
  • Somebody with a high attention to detail – you can handle large volumes data and admin tasks, with accuracy.
  • Able to use Excel at a basic/intermediate level and are familiar with and wider Microsoft Office applications including Outlook and Word.
  • Keen to learn with a positive attitude, a self-starter that can be trusted to work remotely as required, at pace to deliver to agreed timelines.
  • Somebody who enjoys working pace and can adapt/flex as priorities change.
  • Somebody who clearly communicates accurate information and is not afraid to ask questions.
  • Somebody who takes accountability for their priorities and can organize and prioritize their workload.
  • Somebody who works well in a team.
