Advanced Supply Chain are looking to welcome a Sustainability Assistant into the team, and you’ll work really closely with our Head of Sustainability & Procurement to ensure our sustainability targets are achieved! This is a full time, permanent position working from our head office in Bradford, Low Moore conveniently located just a couple of munities drives off junction 26 on the M62 and in return you’ll be rewarded with a generous salary of up-to £28,000 plus a commitment from the company for your professional development.

As our Sustainability Assistant you’ll be our go-to for co-ordinating and managing our sustainability data for the whole group to ensure we are providing effective reporting and as a business are staying committed to implementing the Group wide sustainability strategy and framework. With a wave of impressive customer coming onboard and opening and expanding new warehouses that means managing our sustainability is more crucial than ever before.

What will you be doing as our Sustainability Assistant:

  • Supporting the Head of Procurement and Sustainability with the wider delivery of the sustainability strategy here at ASCG this includes objectives, targets, KPIs and programmes
  • Oversight and responsibility for ESG/Sustainability data collection, management, review, and interpretation of the data
  • Use data to support performance tracking, reporting and disclosure requirements at site and Group level
  • Communicate our sustainability data to key stakeholders including internal and external. You’ll have input in our monthly, quarterly and annual ESG Board report packs
  • Support relationships with third-party ESG data and service providers to ensure software supports the delivery of accurate, high-quality data flows, improves data analytics, and simplifies our reporting processes
  • Carbon data reporting, support with the updating of KPI progress. Work on Carbon Reduction Plans, SECR, TCFD, EPR and similar submissions

What we need from our Sustainability Assistant:

  • Previous experience in a sustainability role
  • Excellent ability to build relationships, communicate and service stakeholders with their requirements
  • Experience in managing stakeholder and supplier relationships
  • Some understanding of human rights and social issues in global supply chains
  • Adequate Microsoft Excel skills including formulas
