Overview

We are currently looking for a Sustainability Analyst to join the Royal London Group Sustainability & Stewardship team on a permanent basis. The team are based at all three of our UK office locations; this role can work on a hybrid basis from either Alderley Edge, Edinburgh, or London.

As Sustainability Analyst, you will play a key role in collating, analysing and reporting on carbon emissions data in relation to Royal London’s investments. You will identify trends and changes in our data to inform our climate reporting and wider sustainability & stewardship strategy. This role reports into the Senior Sustainability & Stewardship Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing sustainability team and contribute to Royal London Group’s climate commitments helping the business to move fairly to a sustainable world.

 

About the role

  • Produces analysis of data for the measurement of climate change and other sustainability impacts from Royal London’s investments.
  • Supports the regulatory and voluntary reporting within the organisation through the production of consistent and reliable metrics and data insights, performed in line with internal procedures and industry good practice.
  • Contributes to the production of climate change gap analysis, research reports, and required reporting and disclosures.
  • Provides support to teams across the Group in incorporating climate change considerations and sustainable outcomes into business decision-making and organisational practices.
  • Assists the Senior Sustainability Analyst and wider team as required to support our climate and wider sustainability strategy.

 

About you

  • Experience of data analysis and working with large data sets with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, written and presentation skills.
  • Good communicator across a range of channels.
  • Team-player with an openness to collaborate with stakeholders in other teams across the Group.
  • Ability to undertake industry research independently.
  • Passionate about sustainability and climate change.
  • Capable of working with stakeholders in other teams across the Group.
