The recently formed ESG function is responsible for developing and implementing sustainability into the core of Ayvens’ UK operations, driving long-term value creation by aligning environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices with the company’s strategic objectives and stakeholder expectations. This includes leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, whilst driving and championing the company’s sustainability agenda. The ESG function will monitor and report on sustainability performance, across environmental, social and governance areas, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

As part of this drive, we’re currently seeking an addition to the team in the form of an ESG Analyst or Sustainability Analyst who’ll report directly to the Head of ESG. This is a tremendously exciting opportunity as we transition to Avyens UK bringing together the wealth of knowledge offered by ALD & Leaseplan. 

Key Purpose

  • Support delivery of key sustainability projects and initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Deliver accurate, consistent and meaningful business data analysis that enables the tracking and validation of key sustainability reporting metrics and allows Ayvens UK to report externally and make data-driven decisions.
  • Work proactively with internal and external data providers to identify and deliver improvements to reporting and insight delivery.

Summary of Responsibilities 

  • Support delivery of ESG Projects in the UK
  • Report on and monitor our ESG targets, including all externally published declarations of intent.
  • Maintain all ESG data and reporting requirements, including but not limited to:
    • Internal reporting;
    • Externally published data
    • ESG accreditations
    • Volunteering
    • Social Impact
  • Create carbon reduction insights and sustainability insights.
  • Proactively discovering, analysing and interpreting trends or patterns in data from multiple sources and delivering relevant insights for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Work with other areas of the business to build common reporting datasets, creating a data library including designing and maintaining a source data model. and supporting the delivery of business projects.

Skills, Experience & Background

  • Experience, evidence to indicate a strong interest/passion for sustainability.
  • Competence in data analysis and modelling tools.
  • Experience with visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau,etc.) and statistical techniques.
  • Ability to write clear documentation and presentations for analytical and data outputs, with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a team setting.
  • Competent in use of Online & Digital technology including Microsoft Office applications.
