This is an exciting opportunity to become a Regional Community and Sustainability Manager!

Working closely with the  Stakeholder Manager and two other regional Community and Sustainability Managers in other regions, you will have responsibility for delivering the Northern Community and Sustainability Strategy across the East Region, in order to deliver against our committed obligations to the Rail North Partnership (Department for Transport and Transport for the North).You will be the main contact for Community Rail Partnerships (CRPs), station adoption groups and other community groups in the region. You will work collaboratively with your community stakeholders to build a strong, coherent and integrated regional network.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the main contact for Community Rail Partnerships (CRPs), station adoption groups, and community stakeholders.

  • Build a strong and integrated network across the East Region.
  • Manage the Station Adoption Fund and deliver CRP-related projects with station teams.
  • Deliver the Northern Community and Sustainability Strategy.
  • Support Environmental and Energy Management Systems and training.
  • Implement resource efficiency and other environmental initiatives as per the Sustainability Strategy
  • Work with the East Stakeholder Manager and Community Marketing Manager to drive collaborative efforts.
  • Respond to stakeholder correspondence and inquiries.
  • Present information and strategies to a variety of audiences.

Extensive regional travel required to fulfill responsibilities.
