For our group company, InterAmerican Coffee Ltd. we are looking for a: Logistics & Sustainability Coordinator (f/m/d).

The position will be based in London and reports directly to the Managing Director of InterAmerican Ltd.

Your responsibilities

  • Coordinate shipments based on various Incoterms, overseeing end to end logistics & contract execution.
  • Handle and review shipping documents.
  • Liaise with suppliers/shippers and customers.
  • Consult with the local warehouses to ensure a timely shipment schedule.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant food safety regulations and standards related to green coffee imports.
  • Develop and maintain food safety management systems, including HACCP plans and risk assessments.
  • Prepare and monitor certification reports (Fairtrade/RFA/Organic).
  • Collaborate with suppliers and producers to enhance supply chain sustainability and traceability.
  • Help develop and maintain sustainability procedures aligned with the company’s goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Help to design process workflows and assist in the integration and use of new IT logistics tools.

Your profile

  • Bachelor´s degree preferably or completed minimum 1-year practical experience in a global trade/commodities.
  • Very organised, able to prioritize and work on various topics simultaneously.
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
  • Strong ability to multitask multiple requests and respond in a timely manner.
  • High level of ownership on topics/tasks given.
  • Passion for coffee.
  • High attention to detail and delivery of quality outputs.
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English, additional languages advantageous.
  • UK national or (if not) a permanent UK resident with a valid working permit required.
