Overview
Ridge has an opportunity for a Graduate Sustainability Consultant to join our Sustainability Team in Leeds. The successful candidate will have a real desire to learn, grow and forge a long-term career within an award-winning multi-discipline consultancy.
The team provide a range of sustainability services direct to client organisations, external consultant teams, contractors, as well as to our own Ridge multi-disciplinary project teams. You will play a key part in the continued growth of our team and should demonstrate a passion to make a difference.
Role and Responsibilities
- Embodied Carbon / Net Zero assessments
- Sustainable Building Assessments (e.g. BREEAM, WELL, FitWel, SKA, DREAM Assessments)
- Planning / masterplanning sustainability support
- ESG / corporate sustainability support
- Producing technical briefing notes and reports
- Assisting project stakeholders with all issues relating to sustainability
- Production of reports and drawings
Skills Required
- An understanding of environmental / sustainability issues and how these link with the built environment
- A good eye for detail
- Able to produce concise verbal and written reports to a good standard of English
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Familiarity of BREEAM and / or embodied carbon modelling with One Click
