We are looking for a Environmental Advisor to join our Infrastructure team in Norwich.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide environmental compliance advice to various teams, including design construction, procurement and subcontractors and suppliers on the practical implementation of contract policies, processes, and requirements.
  • Undertake environmental audits and inspections, both internal and external, including suppliers and waste contractors
  • Deliver suitable environmental and sustainability training for all project staff.
  • Identify and communicate environmental and sustainability risks and mitigations, assisting with the review and undertaking writing of plans, risk assessments and method statements.
  • Drive awareness for and delivery against contract targets, particularly reducing Carbon, materials efficiency and striving to achieve no-net loss in biodiversity.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Degree level in appropriate Environmental or relevant discipline (ideal)
  • At least 3 years’ construction industry experience or relevant environmental experience in a similar sector
  • Minimum Practitioner Membership with IEMA or similar professional membership, or working towards
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel across projects/ contracts in region.
  • Competent IT skills
