Overview
Balfour Beatty’s Power Transmission & Distribution teams work with regional, national and international electricity network owners and operators to provide technical engineering solutions across the full spectrum of the electricity grid, including overhead lines, cabling, substations and distribution networks.
From scoping and feasibility, to design, construction and on-going maintenance, our in-house experts, flexible resources and industry-leading innovations support customers in the development of some of the UK’s most ambitious power transmission and distribution projects.
What you’ll be doing
- Day to day administrative support for the effective operation of the Environmental Sustainability Team
- Booking UK and overseas travel and accommodation for the ES team
- Arranging team meetings and events and collation of presentations documents and resources for these meeting
- Assist Senior Sustainability Coordinator in the identification of ES training needs, including the collation of training records and the reporting of performance
- Raising PO requisitions and managing invoices/ Good Received Notification process
- Timekeeper responsibilities including processing team timesheets/ entering hours onto Oracle R12.
- Assisting the Sustainability Data & Reporting Coordinator with collation and input of data into various reporting systems
- Ordering of team PPE and stationary supplies
- Booking conference rooms – internally and externally for team and client meetings
- General Admin duties – Minutes of meetings/typing/photocopying/scanning
- Screen telephone calls, deal with messages and enquiries
- Any other admin task that may be required by their line manager
- Cover for the Senior Sustainability Project Coordinator and Sustainability Data & Reporting Coordinator during leave/absence
Who we’re looking for

- Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as in a team
- Organised with excellent timekeeping skills
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills essential
- Experience in using IT systems and applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams etc.
