Overview
We are currently in seeking a dynamic Corporate Sustainability Analyst who possesses a comprehensive understanding of assessing and enhancing environmental and social impacts within a commercial framework, coupled with expertise in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting.
In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in analysing and reporting sustainability metrics for SI Group, while spearheading our progress towards ESG objectives. We’re on the lookout for a versatile individual capable of taking ownership of diverse tasks while consistently delivering top-notch results.
Be prepared for occasional travel to our manufacturing sites and participation in conferences and sustainability events.
Responsibilities:
- Measure, monitor, and validate metrics outlined in our ESG program.
- Collaborate on Eco Vadis/Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive submissions.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- Previous experience working on sustainability projects.
- Proficiency in Greenhouse Gas principles, GHG accounting, net zero strategies, United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, social value metrics, and leading ESG reporting frameworks.
- Ability to manipulate large datasets and derive actionable insights.
- Competency in Microsoft Excel, SAP, and Power BI, with an eagerness to adapt to new technologies.
- Strong multitasking abilities, meeting tight deadlines, and effectively communicating insights to stakeholders.
- Design dashboards to monitor sustainability progress.
- Provide data support for business needs.
- Conduct thorough data analysis and generate insightful reports.
- Exceptional prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of presenting complex ideas in a clear, business-friendly manner.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in IT platforms, particularly MS Excel.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive mindset and keen attention to detail.
- Experience presenting to diverse audiences.
- Team player with strong collaborative skills.
- Proficient in time management and project management.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline, with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
This role will be based on-site in Four Ashes, Wolverhampton.
