Overview

We are looking for a Quality & Sustainability Manager who will own Wild’s global quality agenda and lead our sustainability programme, ensuring every product meets our standards for safety, performance, and environmental impact. Sitting at the heart of our Supply Chain team, you’ll embed quality and sustainability into every stage of our process flow – from raw material sourcing to final production.

You will be the point person for quality operations, from supplier audits to complaint resolution, while also driving sustainability improvements in packaging and manufacturing. Working closely with our contract manufacturing partners, you’ll balance day-to-day issue resolution with long-term system building to scale with Wild’s growth.

Reporting into our Supply Chain Value Creation Lead, you’ll work cross-functionally with Product, Commercial, and Customer Service teams to ensure quality and sustainability are built into everything we do.

Your responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for quality issues, coordinating rapid problem-solving with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams.
  • Manage batch release and incoming QC goods checks at 3PLs to ensure timely product flow.
  • Support production runs and trials, including on-the-ground presence with manufacturers to resolve immediate risks.
  • Investigate customer complaints and supplier non-conformances, track CPMU by supplier, and drive corrective actions with Supply Chain support.
  • Analyse complaint data to identify trends and develop prevention strategies.
  • Build and manage the global Quality Management System (QMS), embedding ISO 22716 (cosmetics GMP) and market-specific requirements.
  • Own the quality risk register, audit programme, and corrective/preventive action framework.
  • Qualify, audit, and manage contract manufacturers and raw material suppliers, ensuring continuous compliance. Oversee quality elements of supplier onboarding.
  • Run monthly quality reporting process, tracking KPIs (CPMU by supplier, audit pass rates, OTIF release) to drive supplier performance improvements.
  • Oversee in-market inspections and post-launch reviews, ensuring learnings are fed into Supply Chain and Product processes.
Partner with Supply Chain and Product teams to embed quality and sustainability into NPD, supplier selection, and process design.
  • Champion a “right first time” and “sustainable by design” mindset across all teams.
  • Develop and own our sustainability roadmap in line with our brand mission and market expectations.
  • Partner with suppliers to improve packaging recyclability, reduce waste, and increase use of renewable or sustainable materials.
  • Track and report sustainability KPIs (carbon footprint, recycled content, waste diversion).
  • Embed sustainability considerations into NPD, supplier selection, and operational decisions.
  • Keep the business informed on evolving sustainability regulations and certifications.
  • Oversee our B Corp recertification
  • Work closely with the Regulatory & Compliance Manager (who sits in our Product team) to ensure quality and sustainability goals align with wider market compliance requirements and regulatory landscape.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Eager to build a global quality & sustainability function from the ground up.
  • Passionate about quality and sustainability.
  • A builder with a bias for action, able to design systems and solve problems quickly.
  • Skilled at fostering supplier partnerships and accountability.
  • Confident in leading change across teams and driving continuous improvement.
  • Has 5+ years in quality management for personal care, cosmetics, or FMCG – ideally with sustainability experience.
  • Can switch comfortably between hands-on problem solving (e.g. resolving supplier issues, batch releases, non-conformances) and longer-term system building (QMS, risk registers, preventive frameworks).
  • Able to understand sustainability metrics and have led packaging/operations sustainability initiatives.
  • Can work hands-on with suppliers while also thinking strategically.
  • Loves data and use it to drive better decisions. Use data and KPIs (e.g. CPMU, audit pass rates, OTIF) to identify issues and drive supplier performance improvements.
  • Able to build strong partnerships with suppliers and internal teams to deliver quality and sustainability outcomes.
  • Can handle the speed, pressure and ambiguity of a high-growth scale-up while keeping a “right first time” mindset.
