Mott MacDonald Bentley are recruiting for a Enabling, Environment and Sustainability Manager to join the Anglian Water @One Alliance.

What will you be doing as our new Enabling, Environment and Sustainability Manager.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team delivering impactful projects that improve lives and protect the environment. You’ll work alongside industry leaders in a culture that truly prioritises wellbeing, safety, and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
As a visible champion of our Safer Every Day strategy, you’ll:
- Provide end-to-end leadership across all aspects of environmental consenting, permitting and auditing in project delivery, driving consistency and clarity in approach
- Review and approve all @one Alliance Enabling Risk Assessments with outstanding risks, ensuring that any outstanding risks are fully understood and mitigated. Support the Senior Enabling Lead in implementing consistent standards of assessment and risk categorisation
- Support project teams, Senior Enabling Leads and Enabling Co-ordinators where necessary in relevant governance processes. Effectively manage the escalation of business-critical issues through the appropriate escalation procedure
- Ensure that the AMS (Alliance Management System) is regularly reviewed and updated in line with changes to legislation, lessons learnt and continuous improvement opportunities
- Ensure compliance with current environmental legislation and promote best practices relevant to @one Alliance
- Ensure compliance with the AMS through a program of regular inspections, audits, quality assurance reviews and reporting
A little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours:
- Knowledge of environmental management within the construction industry
- Knowledge of key environmental legislation
- Partner company management training

- Ability to develop a strategic view of a problem
