This role is a hybrid position
This position is considered hybrid, allowing for a combination of remote work and in-office collaboration. Qualified applicants must live within commuting distance of either of our Glasgow or London office locations and should expect to be in the office approximately 2 days per week.
Responsible Design is a key component of Premium Design, where sustainability is embedded into the design process from the start. As a Senior Product Sustainability Lead, you will investigate and develop the most responsible product solutions and continually look for opportunities where we can do better. What You’ll Do
Responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring and delivering the Product Sustainability point of view and product requirements on New Program Initiatives (NPI’s).

Drive cross-functional collaboration within Product, Marketing, DTC, and PR teams to ensure circularity principles and messaging framework are embedded in each product throughout product development and lifecycle management.

Collaborate with a wide range of cross-functional teams to drive our Product Sustainability efforts to product solutions, both at an NPI level and beyond.

Manage and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and timely delivery.

Deliver Product Sustainability content for various channels, including the publicly viewed Product Environmental Reports (PER), demonstrating product-level wins.

Collect information from and provide information to other teams across the organization as necessary as it relates to Product Sustainability.

Continually examine processes and tools looking for efficiency opportunities for the Product Sustainability team.
What You’ll Need
Basic Qualifications:
-
A BA or BS in Sustainability, Industrial Design, and/or CMF Design, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

5-8 years of related professional experience in a corporate or consulting design team environment.

An understanding of product life cycle thinking and greenhouse gas accounting.

Ability to influence, with strong storytelling and presentation skills.

Ingenuity: You are able to creatively problem-solve to achieve our targets. You’re at ease working in a fast-paced, ambiguous, deadline-driven work environment.

Collaboration: You have a demonstrated ability to gain trust, engage, and influence people and teams at all organizational levels.

Organizational skills: You are detail-driven, have a bias for action, and possess meticulous organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Background in Product Sustainability is a plus.

Experience in Life Cycle Assessment.

Experience with consumer-facing products.

Master’s degree in environmental sciences, sustainability, and/or design or an equivalent combination of education and experience is a plus.
