Overview
Working closely with the Director of Development, University Strategic Initiatives, and the Pro Vice Chancellor for Education and Environmental Sustainability, as well as the Heads of Cambridge’s six different Schools and non-school institutions, the Senior Head of Development will play a key role in shaping and executing a University-wide, multi-year Sustainability fundraising campaign.
You will be an experienced fundraiser and manager eager to secure gifts at the transformational level. Collaborative, strategic, and innovative in approach, you will have the ability to engage with high-net-worth individuals, C-Suite corporate and foundation leadership, senior staff across Collegiate Cambridge, as well as academics and other key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a high-impact sustainability fundraising strategy.
- Cultivate relationships with major donors, corporate partners, and foundations.
- Drive engagement and secure transformational philanthropic gifts.
- Collaborate with senior University leaders and academic stakeholders.
- Lead fundraising initiatives that align with Cambridge’s environmental sustainability goals.
