Overview
Exciting new opportunities to join the Public and Sustainable Travel team at Bedford Borough Council to work with our partners in developing and promoting a more sustainable transport network, across all modes of travel.
This role will support the delivery of the Council’s public transport policies, objectives and budgets, and the development of the local bus network and community transport ensuring that services are promoted through the delivery of effective information.
The role holder will also lead on delivering bus stop infrastructure, manage relationships with local transport providers and interface with various stakeholders on bus service changes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for procurement, management and monitoring on contracts to ensure a high standard of delivery, online with cooperate KPI’s, performance management and local and national legislations.
