Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Coordinator to support our CSS (Climate and Sustainability Services) Portfolio in our North Geography.
The Team Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the smooth running of teams, providing day‑to‑day coordination and administrative support across both project and operational activity.
The role can be based out of either our Manchester or Leeds offices. We would like the chosen candidate to visit each office one day per week (travel will be covered for which ever office isn’t your normal place of work).
In this role you will be responsible for preparing clear, high‑quality documents and presentations in line with the Arup brand, using Microsoft Office tools. This includes proofreading and editing content for clarity and consistency, suggesting improvements to messaging, and producing draft presentation materials as required. The role also supports work‑winning activities such as bids and PQQs, including the preparation of supporting documentation such as CVs and project sheets. In addition, you will assist teams with project delivery and promotion, working closely with the marketing team to support activities across social media platforms.
You will provide day‑to‑day support to the team, taking into account holidays, absences, and wellbeing as the team evolves. This includes supporting new starters through their induction, ensuring a smooth and positive experience, as well as organising social and staff events. The role involves coordinating meetings and schedules for Team Leaders and the wider team, proactively gathering information, booking meeting rooms, and liaising with relevant teams to arrange AV requirements and refreshments.
At Arup, you belong to an extraordinary collective – in which we encourage individuality to thrive. Our strength comes from how we respect, share and connect our diverse experiences, perspectives and ideas.
You will have the opportunity to do socially useful work that has meaning – to Arup, to your career, to our members and to the clients and communities we serve.
