Overview
We are looking for someone with strong data skills, as well as a genuine interest in using data to drive meaningful sustainability improvements across our business.
As a Sustainability Data Analyst at Butternut Box, your day-to-day will be a dynamic blend of technical “detective work” and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll enjoy working through Google Sheets and ESG platforms, validating carbon and waste data flowing in from manufacturing, to ensure every recipe’s footprint is accurately accounted for. You’ll also spend time telling the story that this data shows and strategising with SQL or Looker to build dashboards that translate complex environmental metrics into clear insights for the broader team.
Sustainability is embedded in our culture; you won’t just be crunching numbers; you’ll be proactively chasing data discrepancies with internal teams and modelling “what-if” scenarios to help the business identify exactly where it can reduce its impact further and faster.
