Overview
We are seeking a Social Value and Sustainability Manager to lead, coordinate and champion the contract’s social value and sustainability commitments across two significant sites in Chelsea and Westminster.
This role is central to ensuring our contractual, environmental and community-centred obligations are delivered with impact, clarity and measurable outcomes.
We are looking for a motivated individual who can inspire others, build strong relationships, and bring innovative approaches to engaging local communities and key partners.
With social value delivery being a core priority of this contract, the successful candidate will act as the driving force behind community initiatives, carbon reduction plans and collaborative engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social value action plans with clear timelines and outcomes.
- Deliver all social value commitments outlined in the contract.
- Build partnerships with charities, VCSEs, colleges and community groups, including trainee programmes and work with Glasshouse.
- Influence and engage stakeholders, acting as the central coordinator for social value activity.
- Enter monthly social value data into the Social Value Portal in line with the TOM System.
- Lead behavioural-change training on environmental and sustainability responsibilities.
- Drive initiatives to reduce energy use, carbon emissions, waste and single-use plastics, including managing the electric fleet and emissions data.
- Support recycling schemes and coordinate community initiatives, wellbeing events and joint programmes within the contract.
- Stay updated on social value sector developments and implement improvements.

- Proven ability to build meaningful and productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Excellent understanding of national Social Value frameworks and reporting standards.
- Collaborative team player with a positive and enthusiastic approach.
