Overview
Main Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and report on ESG best practices across Schroders Greencoat and related entities
- Support ESG due diligence for investment processes and committee papers
- Manage ESG reporting, disclosure, and compliance with standards (TCFD, SFDR, SDR, UNPRI, GRESB, NZAMI)
- Liaise with external advisors and internal stakeholders on ESG matters
- Oversee production and quality of ESG reports and data collection
- Advise on ESG-related standards, regulatory changes, and client queries
- Set agendas and drive progress for ESG Committee workstreams
- Collaborate with Sustainability & Impact teams to deliver on S&I objectives
- Review and sign off on Impact Assessments for impact funds
- Lead ongoing sustainability projects (e.g. ESG data solutions, climate risk assessments, updating asset management sustainability priorities)
Experience & Skills
- 8–10+ years’ relevant ESG experience in investment management or client advisory roles
- Strong understanding of real assets, preferably infrastructure
- Experience with senior leadership and institutional clients
- Sustainability reporting, disclosure, and client communication expertise
- Advanced subject matter knowledge and project management skills
- Confident verbal and written communicator with diverse stakeholders
- Strong organisational and time management capabilities
- Results-oriented and collaborative; able to represent the firm professionally
- Resourceful and effective in relationship-building, both internally and externally
- Able to work well independently and as part of a team
- Additional accreditations (e.g. CFA, ESG CFA, CAIA, MBA, CPA) beneficial, but not essential
