Overview

Provide support and advice to operational teams on all aspects of environmental management, developing environmental documentation, meeting legal and company standards and helping deliver a culture of continual improvement.

Understand and work with Clients and Regulators as directed to ensure their environmental requirements are complied with.

Support on site mitigation, sustainability of works and engagement with local stakeholders and members of the public. Overseeing a number of working areas across the project to ensure compliance, with key themes and trends identified.

What you’ll be doing

  • Ongoing review of environmental BMS documents

  • Legal review process to ensure new legislation is identified, its impact to the business established and where applicable new/updated BMS documentation is put in place.

  • Working groups on environmental sustainability subject areas to enhance the Business Management System in line with business requirements.

  • Production of the UK monthly environmental incident report.

  • Collation of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Packaging data.

  • Review and update of ESA (Environmental Site Awareness) training content and the production of new training material as appropriate.

  • Digitisation of environmental BMS content

  • Environmental compliance data capture and insights

  • Collaborating with wider team


Who we’re looking for

  • Associate member of IEMA/ISEP (AIEMA/AISEP) or equivalent (recommended but not mandatory)

  • Knowledge of ISO14001

  • Knowledge of environmental risk and legislation

  • Good organisational and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in the use of Office 365
