Overview

The successful candidate will provide professional health, safety and sustainability advice and support across the College. You will support the team with various operational tasks including, investigating incidents, conducting audits, providing advice and guidance, conducting and reviewing risk assessments, delivering training and participating in sustainability initiatives, as well as providing some administrative functions such as preparation of minutes and updating of databases and action trackers.

The postholder will support compliance and best practice across health, safety and sustainability. Requirements:

  • It is essential to hold the NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent.
  • A level 3 environmental qualification is highly desirable. If not held this must be achieved within an agreed time frame. It is essential to be highly proficient with the use of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • It is desirable to have proven operational experience in health and safety, safety law and practice and knowledge of sustainability best practice.
