Your role in our family:

  • Support implementation and compliance of sustainability, environmental, and health & safety policies across all departments.
  • Collect, analyse, and report on key sustainability and safety data, including preparation for EarthCheck audits.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, safety inspections, and incident investigations to maintain a safe workplace.
  • Identify and drive initiatives to improve energy efficiency, waste reduction, circularity, and sustainable procurement.
  • Coordinate staff training, awareness campaigns, and engagement activities on sustainability and health & safety topics.
  • Manage internal and external communications and prepare reports for leadership and stakeholders on ESG and H&S performance.
  • Promote a strong culture of health, safety, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement, collaborating with teams like the Green Team and SKS.

What would make you the perfect fit?

  • Proven experience in implementing and managing sustainability, environmental, and health & safety programs in a workplace setting.
  • Strong knowledge of UK environmental and H&S legislation, standards, and best practices (e.g., EarthCheck or similar certifications).
  • Excellent skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting, with the ability to translate findings into actionable improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct risk assessments, workplace inspections, and incident investigations effectively.
  • Proactive in driving energy efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainable procurement initiatives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage, train, and influence staff at all levels.
  • Collaborative team player with experience working across departments and with external stakeholders to foster a culture of health, safety, and sustainability.
  • Passionate about continuous improvement, innovation, and promoting environmental responsibility.
