As the Senior Packaging Sustainability Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of packaging data and driving sustainability initiatives within Nespresso UK & Ireland. This position focuses on maintaining a centralised database, supporting regulatory compliance, and identifying opportunities for cost-effective and sustainable packaging solutions and maximising product availability while supporting our commitment to carbon neutrality.

Your key responsibilities will include to:
- Drive, develop and maintain a centralised database for all product, packaging, and consumable data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with the TQM Manager to manage tax submissions and regulatory reporting, including adherence to PPWR requirements.
- Create automated reporting tools and dashboards to streamline processes and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
- Work closely with the Nestlé Packaging Team to align with global packaging standards and best practices.
- Analyse packaging data to identify efficiencies and recommend alternative packaging solutions that optimise cost and sustainability.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance and data integrity.

You will have a proven track record in your ability to lead projects focused on packaging optimisation and sustainability, showcasing your expertise in data analysis and reporting to drive actionable insights. You will demonstrate a proactive approach to sustainability initiatives and process improvements, with strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills. Additionally, you will also have:
- A good background in direct-to-consumer logistics and solid understanding of e-commerce operations and fulfilment processes.
- In-depth knowledge of packaging materials, design, and compliance requirements, with experience in evaluating sustainable and cost-effective packaging solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build trust at all levels.
