Overview
Norfolk County Council’s Procurement and Sustainability team is responsible for some £1.1 billion of spending each year, on everything from school construction to social care. It is vital that we work in a structured way that ensures transparency and accountability in how public money is spent as well as continually improving our processes in line with regulations and best practice.
We’re looking for someone to join our team and support us to work in this way. The role will be involved in preparing written reports that support our internal governance and overseeing their progress through the Council’s democratic processes. The post will also provide administrative support for our continuous improvement activities, such as through maintaining records of progress for key work programmes and producing periodic update reports. Alongside, this the role will provide support for some of our procurement activities and the initiatives relating to improving how we work.
The role would suit someone with skills and experience relating to project administration, report writing and stakeholder engagement. A full list of criteria is provided in the job description. It will be a hybrid role allowing for a mixture of working from home and working in the office.
